ewerl.com is a new twist on the traditional URL redirect services we've come to know and love.

Usage statistics! Each ewerl has a usage stats page (example), which will eventually include such nerdy details as user agents, HTTP referers and user IP addresses.

There's already an RSS feed available for each ewerl to watch the most recent activity.

Additionally, your ewerl is unique. Some shortening services base the shortened address on the URL to be redirected to. If multiple people shorten the same URL, the shortened URL will be the same for each user. This makes tracking usage of your particular instance address impossible.

With a unique Ewerl, you'll be able to track usage of your address as people around the world click on your Ewerl, even if other people also have Ewerls pointing to the same destination.

We don't need it. Providing your email address enables us to send you daily reports on how your Ewerls are being used. You can cancel the emails at any time by clicking the link in the email. If you want stats, but don't want to give your email, you can use the RSS feature (see your Ewerl stat page for the link). Just to repeat: you can use Ewerl.com without providing your email address,
